The city has added an English-language section to its website to post questions and comments about anything involving Rosarito, Mayor Hugo Torres announced today.
“The new section will provide an additional means to ask questions about city policy,
Make suggestions and obtain accurate information about what’s happening in Rosarito,” Mayor Torres said. “We hope it will be widely used.”
All comments and questions sent to the city will be read, most often the same day, said Marisa Molina, head of Rosarito’s Foreign Residents Assistance Office.
Specific e-mails needing a response will be answered in most cases within 72 working hours. Some having broad interest will be posted with responses on the city website so the information can be more widely known, she said.
Classified information is restricted but the best effort will be made to answer questions as fully as possible, Ms. Molina said.
“Our administration is committed to working closely with our residents, hearing their opinions and keeping them well-informed,” Mayor Torres said. “It is extremely important that people understand what is going on in the city and can have their input heard.”
To post a comment or ask a question simply got the city website, www.rosarito.gob.mx.
When a new page appears, hit the “English” button in the upper left section, then on the “Important News” banner to the lower left of the same page. Near the bottom of the next page click on “frao@rosarito.gob.mx” to obtain the form for electronically submitting a question or comment.
